Greetings and salutations loyal followers! I am so grateful for all the support I have received during the re-publishing of my first novel and want to take a moment before I begin to thank all my readers. I am especially grateful to everyone who has left positive reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, or any other book website they might have purchased the novel from. Your feedback matters and it can help bring new readers to the world, which is great. So, let me be clear right now. I will never be able to address my appreciation for all of you properly. In the meantime, keep on reading. With that said, I have some announcements to make.
The Rise of Yezurkstal
As many of you know, the next book in the series is scheduled and it is titled “The Rise of Yezurkstal.” Spoiler alert for those who didn’t finish the first one -they don’t kill him yet. Instead, this second book will take a much deeper look into his motivations and show just how diabolical he really is. Don’t worry, you will still get to revisit all of your favorites good guys from the first book and you may even enjoy some new faces. Yes, I have heard those who think Yezurkstal should see less screen time and not more, but that’s not what these books are about. I have a vision with these books and those who enjoy the stories and characters will just have to stand by. Maybe your favorite character still isn’t getting enough screen-time: be patient. Evorath is a world not so unlike our own. The characters you are learning about are important to the history and development of Evorath, so you can trust they have roles to play, even if they aren’t taking center stage yet.
Anyways, I would actually like to take time to talk about my vision, but that time is not now. Instead, I share this news: I have completed writing “The Rise of Yezurkstal.” Before I send it off to editors and to Free Dragon Press, I have to read back through everything and do the edits myself. From there, it needs to go through a couple rounds of editing and more. So, please remain patient while all that occurs. I should have a release date for the next book for you by late October/early November. Though I wanted a 2016 release, it likely won’t be until sometime in 2017. Of course, since many of you just got your hands on the 2nd edition release, that shouldn’t be too painful a wait.
Expect More Posts
With all this aside, I hope you all are ready for more posts. I will be attending Necronomicon in Tampa Bay at the end of the month and my goal is to get back on a regular posting schedule for this blog. I’ve been too distracted with other projects, but since Evorath is where my heart lies, I know I need to focus more of my mind here as well. So, get ready for more lore, more “how-to’s” and more general rambling by yours truly. I hope to see you all here soon. Until then, keep reading!
