Book 3 Release Update

Good morning and happy Tuesday fantasy readers! I know I am terribly inconsistent in my writing of these things, but I wanted to take the opportunity today to share an update. I suspect you already know that last week was the launch of Evorath book 3, The Battle for Erathal. If you didn’t know that, stop reading, and grab yourself a copy now!

If you have already done so, let me pause and say a big THANK YOU! This first trilogy of Evorath has been a monumental undertaking and I’ve had countless lessons along the way. So whether you’ve been a reader since the beginning, or you’ve just recently joined the party, I want you to know I immensely appreciate you. But this post today isn’t just to say thank you. Instead, I want to take a look back at last week and the book 3 release.

Showing Up Around the Web

Corresponding to the release of book 3, you might have seem some mentions around the web. Here are just a few of my favorite spots in case you missed them:

Book 3 Release – So, What’s Next?

I have a few goals this year in the world of Evorath. First, I am working on making audio books a reality for the Evorath trilogy. I’ve had more than a few people ask about when it would be released on audio book and I am grateful for your patience. Know that this is a big priority in 2024. Following this, I am trying to get more into blogging and keeping you all updated with news here. I can’t commit to a schedule yet, but keep your eyes peeled.

Next, I want to announce that the next book in the world of Evorath will be coming in Fall of this year. I’ve actually finished writing this book already, but it’s not been sent off to the editors yet. This new series may feature some of the familiar heroes you’ve come to love in the Evorath trilogy, but it takes place sixty years after those events, opening up a new chapter in the world of Evorath. And rather than rush to have the next series in market, I want to prioritize the audio books for this first trilogy.

Interested in Becoming an ARC Reader?

Advanced Reader Copy (or ARC for short) is a program many authors use when launching new books. It’s a way for authors like me to get more substantial early reviews and a way for readers like you to get a FREE copy of those books. Basically, you join the ARC group with the intention to read and review each book sent to you as part of the program. So the process in a nutshell means: I send you the book, you read the book, you post reviews on or before the book’s release date.

If you’re interested in becoming an ARC reader for future Evorath books, you can fill out the application here. But there are a few things to remember. First, the more places you can rate and review the book, the better. I ask that ARC readers at least expect to post said reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. But if you can post on Bookbub, your own blog -really, the sky is the limit, then please do it! Second, and even more important, ARC readers should take their role seriously and understand they are NOT hype people. Instead, it’s your job to give an honest and thoughtful review. If you think you can do these things, then please apply.

So What’s Next?

I suppose that’s really it. Stay tuned for a release date on Book 1 in the forthcoming Legends of Evorath series. And in the meantime, keep an eye out for new blog posts and news announcements from me here. Until next time, God bless and keep enjoying good fantasy books.
