Alright epic fantasy nerds! Today is the day, so let’s not waste any time on introductions. I present to you, the cover for Book 2 of The Legends of Evorath, The Dark Elf and the Gnome.

The Next Epic Chapter Unfolds

Loyalties are shaken as new alliances emerge. When a malevolent evil emerges from the shadows, will this dark elf and gnome have what it takes to turn the tides?

Critically injured from her failed attack, Castora finds herself face-to-face with a mysterious gnome before losing consciousness. Awaking to bandaged wounds and a warm meal, the kindness of the gnome shakes her convictions to the core. But as she recognizes the lies of her upbringing, she struggles to overcome a lifetime of abuse and conditioning.

The reclusive gnome, Zodim, reveals he’s in possession of an ancient and powerful pyxis, which might just hold the key to securing Evorath’s future. And hearing of the larger battle plans of the dark elf army, he’s determined to work with Castora to put an end to the tides of war once and for all.

Traveling to the free settlement of Marftaport to warn them of the terrifying threat they face, they form an unlikely friendship. Of course, earning the trust of Evorath’s heroes won’t be so easy. But with the rise of Evorath’s most malignant evil, they’ll need to put aside their differences if they hope to succeed.

Against seemingly impossible opposition, can these unlikely friends change the course of Evorath history?

The Dark Elf and the Gnome is a rousing tale of unlikely friendship and redemption. The second entry in The Legends of Evorath epic fantasy series, Joseph P. Macolino’s epic adventure features expansive world-building, mind-bending magic, and offers a glimpse into the struggles lifetime abuse.

When Can You Get A Copy?

The official release date for this next story is May 13, 2025. The paperback will be available through wherever you normally purchase books, while the digital edition will once again be Kindle exclusive, which also means it’ll be available to read on Kindle Unlimited.

But here’s the thing…I didn’t quite get the volume of ARC readers I was after with the first book, so if you’ve read that first one, or feel like playing catch up, you’ll have another opportunity to join the ARC program. If interested in getting started, send an email directly to me: joseph@evorath.com with the subject “ARC Program” or drop a message in the Official Facebook group, where there was a cover reveal yesterday.

For now, I hope you’re as excited as I am about the next release. Until then, may you be blessed and find some phenomenal books to enjoy.
