Happy Thursday fantasy fans! Today, I wanted to share some exciting updates coming from Evorath this year. So sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and be prepared to get excited!
New Release Coming in 2023
While I’m saving the exact release date until after the first rounds of edits are complete and I’ve received the new cover art, it’s past time for me to say…Book 2 of Evorath is on the way. Specifically, The Rise of Yezurkstal (Evorath Book 2) will be debuting in Summer of 2023.
I’ve sent the book to the editors already and cover art ideas are being discussed. So, it’s just a matter of time before the next iteration of the Evorath series is ready for public consumption. If you’ve not done so already, make sure to sign up for our newsletter to get updated along the way.
Updated Cover Art
In addition to the 2nd book targeting a Summer 2023 release, there are also some updates to the cover art of book 1. One of the consistent pieces of feedback I’ve received is that people felt the cover art gave them a different impression of the book. So, when they actually read The Birth of Death, they found it was different than what they expected from the cover.
With that in mind, I’ve been talking with editors and looking to other fantasy novels for inspiration. As such, I’ve found a new cover designer that has quite a unique style and plenty of experience making covers for fantasy novels like Evorath. So, without further ado, here is the new cover for The Birth of Death. And, going forward, you can expect covers to follow this overall design structure.
